any iPad apps that can do avermedia?

Is this one made by Vididev? It is the only one that I find on Google Play,it has 1000+ downloads, and has not been updated since 30/Jul/2011, so that doesn't say a lot about its quality. No not this one. This one is last updated 22/Jul/2013 and has 1million+ downloads, looks a lot better. It has a Basic version (free) and a Pro version (paid) that has been purchased over 100k+ times. I will check it out, thanks! Yes. The app gets updated almost every week. I must say. the one downfall of the app is that it does not give you the ability to pan/tilt/zoom analog cameras connected the dvr. You can however control nearly any IP based PTZ. But seriously .. its the best app. Once its setup.. You don't have to login to the system. you just open the app and the cameras are there. Plus for android it gives you camera image widgets!. Also once you setup the cameras the first time, you can email the config file to your customer so that they never even have to setup the app. They just purchase the app, then open the email which you sent to them, and whala the cameras are magically loaded on their phone. I usually setup all the analog cameras with the manufacturer as "avermedia", and any ip cameras through the actually ip manufacturer such as vivotek. I recently setup a 32 channel hybrid pc based aver system for a customer. One of the cameras was a vivotek that had audio.. YOu can actually stream the audio through the app, and it works really good.

any iPad apps that can do avermedia?

Ip camera viewer. It's the best app ever. Available for ios and Android. Ip camera viewer by nibbles and bits ios Ip cam viewer by Robert chow. Android This app puts all other native camera apps to shame and you can view multiple dvrs/nvrs/ip Csmeras of mixed brands together all at once
  5. Even with data recovery your chances of actually getting the recordings are slim to none. I've been down that road half a dozen times with a 100 % failure rate. I've had the data recovered but then the file structure was corrupt and Un usable.

    avermedia vs. geovision?

Hands down Avermedia. Why... The video image on Avermedias cards (for analog cameras) is far superior. Avermedia does Hybrid pretty well. They accept many third party camera manufacturers such as Vivotek,Panasonic, and Axis. My only grip is that when using an IP camera it takes away 1 analog camera. Supposedly they are going to resolve this by issuing IP licenses , but there is no answer to if and when they will finally implement this. I feel the GUI is very much more user friendly than Geovision. I get nothing but complaints from customers about Geovision's usability. That being said... I have not installed any new Geovision products in quite some time because I just didn't like them.
  7. Hello, I run a cctv business in NE Pennsylvania. Ive build hundreds of systems using Eyemax capture boards. I refuse to do anymore business with Unix cctv. (maybe I can find another way to get eyemax capture cards ). I have also built (and still do build) many Aver systems, and have done a few Geovision. I am interested in finding a channel to get Dahua cards, and maybe even Hik Vision.
  8. did you solve this?? sounds like an Eyemax card

    Help with Aventura !!

The system was already licensed for 24 cameras. All I did was replace the card. Seriously .. this Aventura is nothing but propitiatory junk. I called these clowns once before about 2 years ago and they wanted $500 for the software for there bs cards. They suck

    Help with Aventura !!

I do not see any removable chips on these cards, or on any of the cards that I have in my possession. Do you think that Aventura will help me to register these cards since I have not directly purchased them from Aventura?
  11. Hi, I am new to this forum. I hope someone can help. I have been dealing with PC based dvr systems for about ten years now. I am trying to help a customer right now who has an Aventura DVR. I have aventura parts lying around my shop from units which I have pulled off of jobs. I figured out that the problem with his dvr is that one of the capture boards is bad. I replaced the capture board with one from a dvr lying around in the shop. Now I get a warning saying " your software has not been registered" . The system still works, and I can see the video footage. does anyone know how I can register this, or get rid of this prompt. Also does anyone know where to download Aventura software? Thanks in advance!
  12. Call eyemax and ask them for a user name and password for their FTP server. They have 2 different versions of CMS. they have MDVR which I prefer, and they have ICens.
