    Help with Dahua HF2220R-Z

Hey folks, Ive had this camera for a couple years but never really knew how to adjust it well. Just got into adjusting the iris through the PTZ, and used the BLC at night which looked great! However in the day it was too washed out so I switched to WDR, which is not as good as the BLC at night. So my question is, is there a way to have WDR in day time and BLC at night? Thanks!
  5. I have a netgear N600 WNDR3700v2 router, Motorola surfboard extreme SB6121 modem All ports being used by the DVR are open, i verified it on canyouseeme.org My external IP address DID change after the swap but i just plugged in the new IP on the discovery app with the same ports and no luck
  6. Had this up and running perfectly, I could view the cameras on my local wifi and on my ipad and iphone 4 using the discovery app when away from home. Well the wife wanted a home phone through comcast so they came in and put in a new modem that does both the phone and internet Since then I was not able to view the cameras on 3G, only while on my local wifi. After countless hours of messing with it and trying to figure it out, I gave up and reverted back to my original modem only problem is it is still not working on 3G, only on local wifi. I tried contacting the vendor, but did not get a response, and figured theres a wealth of knowledge here, maybe someone can help me out, thanks!
  7. Thanks! Any recommendations for an IP Camera Intercom? Also, would this still have to go to a NVR? I dont need it to record, just want to see whos at the door and tell them I dont want any magazine subscriptions if I need to
  8. Hey folks We just moved into our house a couple months ago and there is a pre-run of CAT-5 from the Kitchen to the front entry next to the doorbell What are my options for this? Can it be used for a video intercom?
  9. Been lurking on the forum lately and have learned A TON. I have decided I would like to look into a Hybrid DVR, start off with 3-4 analog cameras and add 1-2 IP cameras when the funds allow. I know Hybrid DVR's are Significantly more expensive, and was hoping you folks could offer some suggestions for a decent model, while keeping cost as low as possible.
