  1. Got it not sure what happened but all good So my $50.00 1.3 MP camera is working and it looks like a lorex / Hikvision clone
  2. I got a cheap camera from china trying to connect it to my NVR Settings so far..( see images) NVR settings Manual Current ip IP ONVIF 8080 channel 1 user name password Not sure what i may have missed.
  3. Oh my!!!!!..... Makes loopback not needed A+ will have to check the tftp method I don't have any cheap cams ... yet.. The lorex firmware I had to add my Hikvision cam manually
  4. All the ones posted in this thread have failed before it even began.. If I remember it says firmware mismatch..
  5. Will try but after the lorex update I cant get any firmware to work
  6. How are you guys getting the firmware working, you using the local NVR or via IVMS?
  7. YEY!! After the lorex update my Hikvision cam wont connect. AND!!! I lost my 1:5 view now I'm stuck with 2:2 or 3:3 I have 6 cameras. Are you upgrading via web log in under maintenance / upgrade? If so all firmware I tried failed. Failed via the nvr itself maybe the new lorex firmware killed the update ability. Had to use ONVIF and port 80 to get the hikvision cam running.
  8. I'm skeered maybe I will stick to V2.3.3 build 130620 that works 100% after admin reset? or is there a newer one that works 100%? If I kill it I will be sol, I use them to much to have it die. The newer one I have is not mine I'm just setting it up.
  9. What was that link / email for firmware flash admin unlocking.. in case I need it. I lost the thread where it was listed.
  10. Is it still in need of contacting hikvision for reset or is it a direct update? Either one of them I also just got the LNR382C4B I think its a LNR300 NVR
  11. Not to dig this up.. but did you get a hikvision rom working on the LNR280>?
  12. In my case I don't need the NVR and if I get the old domes I don't consider that a value. I can buy bulk cable and terminate/run it myself. I think I'd rather get a better quality camera (assuming that the Lorex cameras from Costco are inferior) and not have to deal with selling the NVR and potentially having 2 lame duck domes. I sold the cable as I have 2k feet of cat6 And I dislike the domes from what I have seen the bullets are nice. the dvr is nice ID like it to do 3MP but it's ok for what it is.
  13. for the cost.. costco is the best price.. when u add the camera cost.. the 400ft cat 5 and the 2tb hdd.. I paid 850 I think. I may sell the nvr and just run blueirs.
