    its under send alerts approach setup and email it to yourself. the sms is a pain to setup and requires an external dial up modem. just click on attach image.

    what are the specs of computer? how do you have the software configured?

    you don't the create jpg option is for computers/browers that do not support OCX files. It allows it to stream jpg files that simply refresh quickly. This is used on any browser other then I.E and on Mac's with tihs option turned off you could ONLY use Internet Explorer.
  4. are you sure it's not more of an issue with win xp and the newer hardware? never had any issues with windows 7 using h61 or z77 chipsets. How come you are still running xp and the older geovision software? I have a feeling it might be old software with new hardware that's the problem.

    is it detecting motion every 2 seconds and emailing you? or is it just simply emailing you every 2 seconds? It sounds like you have the % of picture change set to low to register as motion.

    also do you have full admin rights? not using a guest or reg user account?

    are you using them in a hot swappable drive bay? Have you tried rebooting the machine? can you create a new folder on the drive via Windows file explorer? tried reloading the software? what version are you running?

    Have you forwarded the correct ports on your router? does it work on windows based machine? more info would be very helpful.
  9. is it the identical card in both the old and new computer? or did you buy a new card for the new computer?

    Under Webcam Server settings, make sure that "Enhance Network Security" is not checked on the General tab.
