I have sorted the problem out. You can close the thread. The password and username are both "admin". If anyone has the same problem I hope I'll be of any help.

Hello everyone. I have a problem with setting my dvr for remote access. I set up a static IP and all the rest. The site of the router becomes live. I open it from remote computers,but then it asks for a password to access the actual interface of the site. I don't have the password as I bought the DVR from a bootsale. Is there any way I can find the password it needs? P.S.The DVR is AVTECH 4CH MPEG 4 DVR AVC761Z-B. I am not sure if that's the model, but there are a few sequences of numbers and letters looking like model names. Regards Martin
