  2. Hello everyone I have this problem that I haven´t come across before, I have set up multible NVR´s in last couple of years and now I have this problem: I have opened ports on router and can connect and view everything fine using either android or pc, however when it comes to look at recording in pc this shows up ( see attached pic ). Timeline is gone and nothing works!? Also in the beginning I had a problem open the http (8080 or 8181 ) port for NVR but got it opened at the end, port 443 shows closed by portchecker I also tried to port forward 443. On another location I have the same problem meaning that remote recording displays the same as this one and does not work! I have even changed the NVR once and thougt maybie this was becuse of faulty NVR. Has anyone had experience like that ? regards

    Dahua NVR4216 log off!

No Im afraid not, camera windows are still viewable upon the screen but you will need to log in again i order to get camera onscreen again. This is weird function, you can config screen to stay for up to 60 min max?! Anyone please?

    Dahua NVR4216 log off!

No one?! well ok, I heard that this could be a firmware issue? And I was suggested to install older firmware in order to fix this, but really ? help please regards Eythor
  5. Hello guys I hope someone can share his knowledge about the issue. Customers (and me) want to be able to have a live view stream from the monitor 24/7, however screen logs off and cameras dissapear! I know this can be adjusted, but in config of the NVR only 60 min max. There has got to be way to make the NVR monitor stay constantly on?! Regards Eythor
  6. bluestar ... better late than never - thank you for your reply
  7. Well I just had to make some adjustment to I think it was manage add on´s ...or what ever - thank you guys for the pointers, otherwise I wouldn´t have tried it I guess.
  8. Yes you are right this is from chrome browser, but I never use chrome - I always use internet explorer, but yes this how it comes up very time. I just type in ip adress in browser and this site comes up, it doesn´t ask for user and password ?
  9. year ago I did a project and everything worked just fine, but all of a sudden now when I try to log in to the Dahua hybrid using my pc remotely ( wich has always worked perfectly in the past until now ) it only showes me this screen: So my question is why ?

    Harbour project

Ok guys ( and girls?) here it goes: I have a new project coming up and this is my setup, but I am getting little bit worried about my plan and whether it will work as planned. Distance from cameras (located at harbour) to house is aprox 350 yards This is wireless project -using Ubiquiti NanoStation Loco M5 for point to point ( with a clear view of sight ) This is my choice of cameras : http://www.kingdisplay.net/products/573.html#.Uq4x6FtdWSo ...and for some stupid reason this was my choice of NVR : http://www.kingdisplay.net/products/471.html#.Uq4yNFtdWSo My question´s are as follow : can I use this NVR for recording / and viewing 3mp cameras ( 4pcs) ? I know it records in 1080p and only is able to be viewed in 1920X1080 at most, but I was hoping to be able to look at videos perhaps from the internal 32G sd cards in 3mp resolution if god would forbid something to happen wich needed more clear video? And for more clarification, is this true- higher mp cameras offer the ability of clearer picture with zoom in but are in general bound to 1080p resolutions of monitors? thank you..
  12. Hi, I am curious did you manage to solve the reboot problem on the Dahua dvr´s hybrid? I have the same issue, hybrid reboots once every other month or so, really doesn´t cause any major problems ( and I already unchecked the option of reboot in auto maintenance) . But my problem still is this: I have a lcd monitor with special setup in a another location for bar owners to watch over the place whilst preparing food. When system reboots, the monitor resets itself, you can see every camera on the screen - but special setup feature has to be setup manually again and again and afdnakfb sdfjdflnvlknv dvndnv ! best regards Eythor all the way from Iceland
  13. Ok, I understand this and belive me I have fixed this on my NVR at home wich I was playing with few weeks ago and like now lost connection with few IPC2100 cameras (wasn´t able to view with PSS ) . Maybie I should try to change to this PSS software version, you see the DVR came with PSS software cd, but according to the guy ( bar co-owner ) their pc has no cd drive so we installed PSS software from Dahua webpage. Needless to say and to my surprise it was another version ( gray-ish) don´t know the version but different from wich comes with DVR. Do you know where I can download this version ( like screenshot) ? I should be able to manually add this DVR hybrid or have the program auto-add it , put in username and password, the go up screen right side and drag the cameras over ...right?
  14. thank you very much for your prompt reply vector18, yes ok I did understand you correctly then as I entered of course the password twice ( aka-confirm ) Is there a way to reset PSS ? start over again ? ..I already tried to uninstalll it and install again but no luck This shouldn´t be rocket science damn it ( pardon my language) If you can post step by step instruction I will love you man hehe
  15. Well after spending almost 2 hours trying to figure this out I´m still not able to make this work -vector18 what do you mean by "...enter it in confirm"? Also, is it possible to block out PSS viewing with dvr adjustment? If I remember correctly the first time I installed the PSS software it picked up the DVR automatically. ...an idea is it possible that couple of switches could be blocking the pc (firewall) ? ...jesus I´m out on a limb here guys hehehe I think I have like 6 or 7 hour invested in this by now and I left the place early this evening using viewing over LAN, just to keep the guys satisfied
