    Your reseller may have set a pw. from the factory the default is blank Also full access from on board port no logon you can even watch / interupt Uboat

    Hello, I also have a generic DVR, I'm trying to change the logo on the boot screen. Could you tell me how you made the root access? Was via Telnet? Where and how did you get the password? Initially by telnet and leave pw blank. There is also a serial port on the board.

    How do I change the boot logo / splash screen on a CCTV H.264 DVR running embedded BusyBox Linux. I have root access to the box and have found a pile of .gif image files in /mnt/pic but none of these are the screen that is shown at boot up does anyone know the file format and location many thanks kev
