  1. Currently running windows. But if there is a reason to swap to Linux. I don't mind.
  2. I am not sure which card is it to be honnest. Is there not like a open source dvr recording software that just works with multiple cards / video inputs?
  3. I currently have a pc running 8 analog cameras with a dvr card and it uses the software for that dvr card. I was wandering if any one out there knows of any software which creates a virtual capture card, and then you can add ip camera steams as channels to that virtual capture card, That way the ip cam streams will appear as normal analog cameras and then it will be very easy to integrate them with the two.
  4. Good day all, I have just build my self a dvr machine. I got a 8ch dvr recorder card. Now it came with some software, but it is pretty poor. What are the best FREE dvr recording programs. Features that I would like: ip / cctv / web cam support Web interface / remote view Motion detetion recording If any of you know of any good programs please could you let me know. Preferably a FREE, not a trial version etc. Thanks for the help
