  1. I see the problem. I had the exact same thing until I realized what I was doing. The Domain will be your custom address. The host will be the same for everyone. It should be configured like this: Host: members.dyndns.com Domain: xxxxxxxx.dyndns-remote.com (The custom name you set goes here) Username: Your DynDNS Username Password: Your DynDNS Password

    Bad timing

Hey guys....just found this site while searching some camera stuff. I'm looking to upgrade my current CCTV system for a IP system but would like to retain my analog cameras. I know it can be done but i just have a few questions that hopefully I can find by reading here. I've had my system for 2 years and about a month ago, the hard drive died and I just got busy with other things and didnt get around to fixing it and then 1 week ago, my house was broken into for the first time ever during the middle of the day..Had my Cameras been on, they would have gotten everything. I got a new hard drive and got it back going today but I'm interested in changing. Ideally, I would like to use a rackmount PC and add some sort of card that can convert the analog cameras to digital and then add IP cameras from here on out. Hopefully I can find some inexpensive software that will handle Analog and Dig cameras at the same time for a decent price.
