  2. Hi all I just instal Qvis DVR of course problems, I can ping within LAN, I can see image from camera within LAN but not WAN, I just set up same DVR on Virgin Media router in 10 minutes, all worked, custorem very happy but his second shop was awkward router is Technicolor 582n ISP is XLN Telecom ports: 34566, 34667, 37777 but not working I used few scanner ports but all was shown as "isn't responding on port..." Now im scanning my Virgin Media router at home, and same ports same messages however are opened and cctv working. I tried few random ports, and no success. Does anyone know what ports I should use? This ISP may have any ports opened
  3. Why is that? I can ping dvr within LAN, computers connects to dvr easy, without problems, I can see image from cameras, but when i try to use external IP address i see message "Can't find the device" Very weird Why does it connect to internal IP address but can't connect to external???? This is Qvis DVR, i did port forwarding, ISP is Virgin Media. Last year I connected same DVR here, and it worked prefectly.
  4. Finally it is "active" but I cannot ping and see cameras:
  5. I did it I change IP, dvr got it through DHCP, and I cannot ping it: "destination host unreachable" moved to DMZ, still no luck. the previous shot screen: status device: inactive why is inactive? same story with IP obtained through DHCP
  6. Hi I just installed CCTV and it works except internet. This is business Talk Talk, router Technicolor TG 582n. Ethernet cable is good, laptop connected works, I set port forwarding on the router, but I cannot ping DVR. Message is: Destination host unreachable. the router has dvr on the network devices list, correct interface, IP address, MAC address, but there is no full connectivity between dvr and router. Day before same DVR was tested and connected to Virgin Media router, worked fine. Now while connected to Talk Talk router does not connect to the router. Subnet mask, default gateway, DNS were set correctly on DVR. I don't understand why I can't ping DVR, but it is on the network device list Who can help? Perhaps Talk Talk uses different ports, or firewall issue, or DMZ?????
  7. Hi all I just bought Qvis 16 ch DVR, it works somehow but I can't see image online. Within LAN I see GUI on Mozilla browser, can log in but Mozilla asks me for plugin. The manual say only IE, and ActiveX IE Plug_V1.1.0.78.exe is required. OK, it is supplied on CD with DVR but when I try to install on my PC Norton blocks it waring me it contains backdoor Graybird, dangerous malware. I wonder how I can set up remote control now. I tried to download ActiveX but got lot of rubbish software, probably malware, I got warnings to avoid opening, Norton blocks it. IE doesn't open, I see only top tab "NetSurveillanceWEB" and whole page is blank. Mozilla cas see GUI, can log in, but cant see picture from cameras. How to solve it?
