  1. - I had similar problem, the mistake was not changing the default ip of the camera. Without changing camera IP, I couldn't have accessed it to big in with
  2. I experience this exact same issue. Anyone have ideas? There must be something easy missing... - Camera working fine - Change port from admin screen - Can no longer access camera in any way - Camera shows briefly on SADP with new port listed, then drops...shows again, then drops - Need to do a physical reset to access camera again Does this on all my Hikvision bullets. ??
  3. this image problem comes and goes on one camera. cant correlate it to anything. re-terminated cable ends. what you think...cable/settings/camera/firmware? hik 2032
  4. For the Dynamic Analysis to work you need to set this: Local Configuration > Rules > Enable
  5. Good suggestion for compromise; i will play around with that. Yes! Guess it's hard to believe that without advanced pixel search, nothing can be flagged during continuous recording. Maybe I'm thinking about this wrong lol
  6. By search, I just mean able to scroll the timeline to see flagged motion events, or auto play them. Example, red bars on timeline, even while recording 24/7. Not pixel search.
  7. That's too bad. I guess I'll report back if I find anything. In my mind the camera is always identifying motion, so I don't see why marking that on the timeline would be different if record was always on. (I'm not a programmer)
  8. My cameras (mostly Hikvision) will all record 24/7. I assume motion signal can be flagged on the timeline even while recording continuously. I would like to search these easily. Does anyone know for sure which pc software can do this well? Hikvision, BI, Milestone? Will this dictate weather I use onboard motion or software?

help network newb connect to switch

Hey, thank you! Yes, that was the problem...my gateway is 10.0.0.1. Your steps helped me access the switch admin. Now I need to monkey the switch to 10.0.0.x.
  10. Finally got a zyxel poe/gigabit managed switch. Switch functions properly and poe works. But i cant figure out how to access the mangement. Manual says 192.168.1.1. I've searched for solution for 2 days. I give up, what am i missing? gateway -> switch -> everything I'm asking here on this site because you guys got me into this I have a couple hik attached to it now. thanks
