Newbie hello from Helsinki! I'm planning a new system from scratch. I'll begin with only 3 cameras, building with time up to 8 cameras, possibly 5MP when they become more available. For now I'm choosing between Hikvision DS-2CD2032-I or Dahua IPC-HFW4300S. From what I have read on forums there is no big differences between them, although the Hikvision is specced to -30C temperatures, as opposed to Dahua's -20C -- which could make a difference here in scandinavia. I'm planning to use the 64-channel Dahua DH/NVR7264, as only 8 and 64 ch are available in Europe at reasonable prices. Does anyone have experience in wether Dahua DH/NVR7264 recorders are compatible with Hikvision DS-2CD2032-I cameras? Or should I stay on the safe side and use Dahua cameras?
