I have a CP PLUS CCTV DVR (Krypto series) running with 8 IP bullet cameras. Recently my DVR is running very slow. The starting and shutting down of DVR along with other operations (playback recording, HDD formatting etc.) is very laggy in respect of time. It is taking minutes instead of a few seconds to complete the operations. Only the current playback is running normally. Is it a hard disk problem, should I have to upgrade the system or is it a network problem?
I have not updated my DVR firmware since the time of installation. What is the actual function of firmware upgrade? Would it be a problem if I not upgrade my DVR firmware?
