Hi, I appreciate there is a lot of mixed feeling about the Swann systems from Maplins and it isn't the best. Mine has worked fine the pictures are good and have helped me catch thieves. I bought a Sentient Camera as it has Audio capability as my Neighbour teen son is constantly shouting abuse at my window.. The Audio worked fine, but now it doesn't work, I have tried using the Swann link software to live view and it is quiet, no Audio, I have checked all the cables to the DVR unit including the join from camera all are connected tightly. I moved the camera a few weeks ago as it was taking in next doors property, so re angled it away, again no damage to cables has happened, I waddled the white phono cable connection on the DVR but still no joy. Is there anything else I am missing. Many thanks Matt

Hi All, I purchased one of these system a couple of months and all is working well, I can view via Samsung phone and via PC using the software. I went away on holiday last week for 1 week, I turned off all my TV/PC etc and router, but left the DVR on to record. When I got home last night I went to see if anything happened whilst away and I am finding that when selecting each camera for the time I was away it is saying "NO FILES FOUND" this is for every day I was away. Does the internet have to always be on for me to view what ever has been recorded ? and does this mean I wasted my time leaving the DVR on without the router running whilst away ? I am new to the CCTV after being broken into twice, I upgraded my cameras to digital as I used to have a Voltek system which recorded onto VHS, ( dark ages ) Many thanks for any help or advice..
