Hi TomCCTV, we tried this originally and it made no difference. A friend has tested the board, and its providing the correct voltages and suspects the firmware may need flashing but I cant find anything on the internet. Any ideas?

if its any help when we opened the casing there is an led that flashes on and off on the motherboard in the LED15 position???

Hi we recently purchased this dvr to put to an existing CCTV camera network that had the DVR removed. We came to set it up today but when we switched it on it shows the QVIS LABS initial screen then powers down and powers up again. We were concerned that it had been left unused for a number of months before we were able to start setting it up so replaced the BIOS battery but to no effect. Any help would be gratefully received as the company we purchased have since gone bankrupt...
