  1. Hi, as you'll see I'm new to the forum so be gentle with me I've been using a Qvis dvr for several years now monitoring wild otters in an artificial holt with great success. However, I now have a couple of problems which despite hours of trawling the internet I can't solve. The first is regarding the dvr itself. I recently tried backing the files up to a Buffalo disc drive (which I've used before) and the dvr now says there isn't any space left on the drive when I know its empty and been formatted. The Buffalo is fine as I have used on my pc to copy across photographs etc. Any suggestions please ? Secondly, my first Qvis (I have two), was set to 'overwrite when HDD full' (unknowingly to me) in the settings menu. Does anyone know if it is the same as with digital memory cards etc, in that the files are still there and only the file paths have been erased until the space is taken up by further recordings ? ie could I recover the 'hidden' recordings with recovery software ? Many thanks Robbie
