    Dahua and POS

Hi Not sure where to post. I am trying to set-up a Dahua Tribrid (cvi/analog/ip) DVR to Micros Simphony v2.0 POS system. Does anyone have any information or suggestions on exactly how to do this? Any suggestions would be appreciated. By the way, Micros has been NO help on this. Thanks JK

    POS text insert

Hi I didn't know where to post this so I thought I'd try here. Anyway, I have several Dahua CVI systems and also have several POS terminals set-up as well. Of course, they are not compatible. Are there any products that will allow me to set-up POS text on several cameras (single unit, several units)? I see there are many products online, but I have no idea what is what. Thanks JK
  3. Hi Does anybody have any idea how to set-up the Dahua DVRs to POS? Specifically the POS system is the Micros Simphony v2.0. I am trying to do this for a client so any info, experience or suggestions would be great. Thanks JK

    Weird Video

Hi I've got a situation and I want to see if anybody here has ever seen or heard of this. I am installing a 16 channel CVI system for myself. After running all cable, compression BNC, etc I began hooking up cameras- only 6 to start-and the the 12v dc regulated power supply. These cameras are 6mm domes. The image looked great at first-just like it should-then it would instantly "zoom in" and then back out again. The best way to describe this is like an edit in a film-wide shot, cut to close up, then cut back to wide shot again. I am unable to run any further tests on the power supply, cable, BNC ends until next week so it is really bugging me until then. All cameras and DVR were tested before installation so everything works fine. Has anybody ever heard or seen this before? Thanks JK

    Best CCTV Magazine

Hi I am curious if anyone knows or has any suggestions on CCTV magazines in the U.S. Specifically, is there a "go to" CCTV mag for DIY homeowners or business owners? I see a lot of CCTV mags but was not sure if there is one main mag that most people read, refer and/or subscribe to. Thanks JK
