hi everyone.
i need some help finding a proper system.
dvr/nvr must have
triplex capability
can be remotely accessed using utilizes MPEG4 or H.264 with or not client software/works on iphones.
video files that can be played by any normal Software/no extra plugin needed< not so important<
must be HD and 16 channel/include as many cams as possible, i can buy the extra
cams.
need 16 cams.
all but 2 cams will be in a small room, the 2 will be outside so need wide view for them, i can buy them.
need 2 cams that record audio or 1-2 mic that can record individually> front desk
2 of the cams will be outdoors, but that don't really matter because i can buy them individually.
must have space/capacity for future hdd upgrades, a 2,3 TB is fine for now i guess.
i wish to use existing Ethernet cables that are used for the terminals/ncomputing.
the Lorex LNR400 series seems nice.
local friend suggested on buying a nvr and some 5 port poe switches, not sure if best option.
any suggestion to a good nvr/dvr setup is much appreciated.
the space is a 2 floor building, only 1 cam will be on 2nd floor to monitor our server.
nvr/dvr will be on 2nd floor if depending if i can/can't use existing lan.
budget is about +/- 3000.00
