    Swann CONVR-B83MP dome camera

it seems that it doesn't support Onvif protocol. So, it must be a private protocol. you have to buy swam camera as swam want to do so. Sometimes, the voltage of POE ports are around DC19V, not DC48V, this setting could save a lot of cost.
  4. Hi, Here is my solution: 1.Connect the Lan port of NVR with one of lan port of router(usually have 4 ports) , so the first 16pcs cameras are online. 2.Connect the lan port of POE switch to the lan port of router directly, so the next 16pcs cameras are online. .......................

    Voltage Drop

WD, I mean the camera with wide voltage design (9-20V), so when you increase the volt output of the power supply, the closest camera wouldn't damaged.

    Voltage Drop

Right, the best way is using 24 AC. The volt will be no lose. Or you could adjust the power supply to increase the DC volt, example 15V, the closest and furtherest will have different volt. That is why some camera have WD type.

    Are my cameras compatable???

You could choose the output of the screen, VGA is common for analog DVR. Camera is always DC12 V or AC 24 V
