How do you think this would do without the street lights? Where I live is the end of a culdesac and we have no light street light near the house. I have a 2032 currently and it gives OK quality picture on 1/3 but the motion blur is ridiculous.

I currently have a Hik 2032 which I use to cover the front of my house however would like to get another for the back of the house. I would need it to be PoE and record to SD as I know the current Hik firmware cannot record to NAS's over 320GB, my current Hik records to a HDD that I have in a USB cradle plugged into my NAS. I've looked on eBay but cannot find anything that matches my need. Anyone have any suggestions? Willing to pay upto £150.

I don't suppose that firmware fixes the bug with NAS's does it where it always returns to "uninitialized"?

Hi, I've had my hik running for a few months now and had to link a HDD caddy upto my NAS and record to the 250GB HDD within that. I am looking at getting a second camera for the front of the house but would really like to get it recording to my 3TB WD MyCloud NAS. Is there a new firmware out or a patch yet so I can get it finally recording to the NAS I bought especially for that purpose? Thanks.

Hi, New to this forum so hi all , finally took the plunge and purchased a HikVision DS-2CD2032-I after months of deliberation. Does anyone have any tips what settings to go with? I've only had a little play about with it but very impressed so far. I plan on purchasing a WD My Cloud NAS device the weekend to store footage on and install the camera in it's permanent place. Cheers.
