Hi It seems to work, But normaly it's possible to configure the motion detection direclty from Avigilon VMS ? Also with pixels,... Why I connot see the little icon to configure it ? Does it mean UNiview camera are not really compatible with Avigilon VMS ? Thanks for your support !

Hi, We are working with UNIVIEW since 2 years in my company. We are really hapy with them. For us, they are clearly the best between quality and prices. One of our bug customer asked us to test if our camera could wotk with Avigilon VMS. I'm trying this week end to make it work and it seems to work, but I cannot find the way to activate the motion detection. Is there anybody who can help me ? In the manual, Avigilon says that i could see the little logo "Motion detection" and configure it. But there is no logo in the picture where i see my camera ? Should I have to so something to make it work ? Thanks for your support Raphaël

Hi, I have a serious problem since too much time now, and i would be very pleased to have your comment and help if possible. We installed 8 camera Bullet 4mp (From Qihan) outside in a factory. Those bullets are connected to a PoE+ switch and connected to a 16ch NVR (From Qihan). It worked during few weeks, but now I have always disconnection for two of those bullets. Those two bullets are far from the PoE switch (Between 90 and 100 meters). I used cat6 UTP (cables are outside the factory) So now sometimes it's working and sometimes i lose those two cameras. Do you think it's a cable problem ? should i use Cat6 FTP ? Is it a problem because cables is too long ? Is it a camera problem ? What would be the solution I'm lost and my customer start to be mad ! Hi, We are distributor in Europ for IP camera & NVR. We have our own camera brand in OEM with a good asian supplier. Our camera are middle level class from 2MP to 4MP. Some customers asked us few times to have something higher level class, like Avigilon or Arecont. The problem is they are already some ditributor for Arecont or Avigilon in my country and those material is really expensive. So I wante to know if somebondy could now an asian sustitute to them. Hi Just to let you know my story and tell to everybody that some suppliers in China are really rotten. But some are great ! (you just have to find it) I received few mails from SUNIVIEW with price list, and started to chat with the sales call BRAND LEE. We talked for few weeks and i was launching my CCTV company in Belgium and planed to go to china to visit manufactory. I decided to buy few samples from suniview before going to china, as I could test it before going to visit them. I toke an appointment with this Mr Brand Lee in Guangzhou I never received the goods before my journey !!! So when I arrived in Guangzhou, i have waited Mr Brand Lee for an hour and decided to phone to the comapny. I had someone on the phone saying that Brand Lee was not well and he couldn't come. and nobody else could. So i decided to carry on my journey. I have visited 12 factories in three days, and some of them are really great. Now I have launched my CCTV company in Belgium and I hope everything will go well. I received some cameras and NVR from Suniview 4 weeks after my chinese journey.
