Hello, officially new to the board but have been reading for quite some time.
Any retailers/installers on here from Texas. I recently made my side job hobby stuff official by starting a small business. Security cameras is one of my things. I read somewhere that you need a license to install in TX. Looked it of on Tx DPS site and sure enough you do.... I have read through the Texas Administrative code and the way i read it, is you need a license to sell, install, consultant, pretty much anything do to with security cameras.
To start off I would like just to sell. I have 2 different distributors to buy through for wholesale price. You can search the database for company names. I search my distributors and even best buy, fry's etc and they are not listed. So my question is do you need a license to sell. Am I missing a clause somewhere or are certain types of sellers exempt? Thank you
