    DVR for car

I use a Mini 0801 in my car. It only has one camera, but you can swivel it. They are inexpensive, so if you wanted one in front and one in back, you could get one for each http://www.amazon.com/E-PRANCE%C2%AE-Ambarella-Resolution-G-sensor-License/dp/B00F2GMUPU On my motorcycle, I use a Mobius. Totally different form factor, but I really like it for my bike. http://www.amazon.com/Mobius-Action-Camera-1080P-Sports/dp/B00GT2B4R6/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1427422684&sr=8-1&keywords=mobius

Can you give a little more detail? Are you wanting a dash cam or something else? There are a lot of good posts over on https://dashcamtalk.com about different dash cams. Are you wanting to record the exterior of the car or the interior? If interior, what part of the car are you wanting to record? Are you wanting to record only when driving when the car is on) or while it is off also?
  3. I recently installed an Amcrest 720p system and am having trouble with motion detection regions. The system does not seem to respect the region that you set up. It detects motion in the entire frame, regardless which parts of the region are selected or cleared. It appears to use the same or similar firmware as a Dahua hybrid system. Has anyone else experienced this problem and found a solution? I also have a problem that the motion detection is extremely sensitive to changes in ambient light. Here is a video that it captured of a subtle change in light. Any solutions to that one either?
