    Mini nvr questions

Hi I was wondering if anybody could help. I have updated my 4ch NVR with V4.0[20160707]. I have scheduled recording for 24hrs but when I look at the playback I can only see the previous 1 hours recording. I cant find anywhere to change this. Could anybody point ,me in the right direction please. Cheers Andy

    Hybrid DVR

Thanks for you reply. they have decided to have IP at one end and view it remotely at the other site. I will explain more when I have finished setting it up.
  3. Thanks for your reply. The customer has given me a bit more info on what they require. Site 1 (which already has cctv in stalled) is the main site. Site 2 is where they prep cars for sale and this is what they want to monitor, basically to kame sure no one is skiving. They want a TV mounted on the wall in the office just to monitor the two cameras. One camera is an indoor cam and one outdoor. Both need to PTZ and controllable from Site 1. They will have FFTC installed at Site 2 shortly so bandwidth is not going to be an issue. So still thinking NVR attached to TV on site one and remotely connecting the Cameras at site 2 over a VPN. Any recommendations on a system and Cameras would be welcome.
  4. Hi hope someone can point me in the right direction. We have a client who initially wanted a Hybrid system but this was going to be a bit difficult due to contract obligations. They have two sites, Site 1 Site 2 They would like to monitor Site 2 from Site 1 on a TV screen in the Office. They have decided to go the IP Camera route at Site 2. They also want to control the Cameras at Site 2. I was thinking of getting a NVR and placing that on Site 1 attached to the TV, and connecting the Cameras via the internet via VPN. Just to add the second site will have a new Broadband installed just for the Cameras. Does anybody have any recommendations for a system or a better way of doing this? thanks Andrew

    Hybrid DVR

Just to add to this Im new to CCTV Im a PC tech by trade. I have setup IP cams in the past and have some at home. TO make this more complicated my boss has informed me that the customer requires that the remote IP cameras can be viewed on the same system as the BNC connected Cams. They all move as well so I'm thinking this is well above my current knowledge. So like I said any help would be welcome.

    Hybrid DVR

Hi, First time here, and I know its how most people join a forum by asking a question but here goes: I have a customer who has moved premises, he currently has a very old Analog DVR system which has basically fell apart. The Cameras are fine but the system is a bit too old. He has two sites which he needs to monitor, he wants to keep his current Cameras and use IP cameras at his new site. So Im looking for a Hybrid system I reckon. So need a system that can handle the current cameras and connect to two remote IP cams over the internet. Any recommendations are welcome.
