  1. If the mag lock does not have a built in contact(also called a DSM), you will need to install 1 door contact on each door. You can run a short piece of wire between the two door contacts and wire in series. Also check with you AHJ, your access panel may need to be tied into the fire alarm panel since you are using mag locks. This means if the fire alarm trips the power for the mag locks will need to drop out. You may need to setup an inspection with the fire department. Don't overlook this step as you can get into deep water if it is not done. Also make sure you used a fail safe lock.

    Finger print

hi..we used a morpho fingerprint reader for a asset management firm last year. we had 4 readers and also purchased an enrollment reader. just like working with any new product it took time to get it programmed properly. a few calls to tech support. its working very well from what i know. we did get feedback that it needs to be wiped down every now and then. PS we used an s2 access panel. this is a great system but you need to be a certified installer.
  3. Hi all...I have to add 3 doors to this access control system. I was not able to look at the panel during the walk through because they didn't have the key. I was sent this picture afterwards. Looks like a custom built panel(maybe an old system)? Does anybody know what type of system this is? Any help would be appreciated.
