  1. For anyone attempting the same procedure I can confirm that its as simple as replacing the drives and ensuring that the drive has no partition and is not formatted.
  2. Hi all, we act as IT support and have been asked by a client to take a look at a Symphony 16 DVR unit which appears to have a faulty hard drive. (There is an audible "tick" from one of the drives and playing back a saved file usually fails after about a minute, though the DVR unit itself does still boot and appears to be working correctly) I can see 2 drives present 1TB Seagate st31000525 sv - I do actually have quite a bit of documentation for the unit but nothing as regards drive replacement. I can obtain exact replacement drives, they are 6 years old and both will be replaced. Can anyone help with the drive replacement procedure? Thank You, Keith.
