  1. Thanks Boogieman, I think you are right, camcorders may be the way to go. I pictured sitting in a central location monitoring all the feeds (with two way audio) recording locally at desired times and transferring files up to an FTP ..then at the end of the day all 300 odd demos are uploaded and delivered for review..Rather than going back to edit out each clip from a camcorder x 20 rooms.. so basically workflow was the reason for streaming and recording to a central location. But with consumer off the shelf hardware and software it's looking unachievable. Many Thanks for your response.
  2. Thanks for the reply, much appreciated. we have $3K for the hardware, so $150 per room. Very tight, but it's only for two days so happy to hire gear
  3. Hi There, I'm struggling to come up with a workable solution for this. We need to record both Vision and Audio from 20 separate cameras in 20 separate rooms. We would like to record the streams to both a laptop machine(or 4) and the onboard SD card. All camera and laptops will be on the same LAN and no external (WAN) monitoring or recording needed. We don't require any detection or scheduling, just a simple record now function when required. (we are recording 7 x 30-minute presentations in each room throughout the day) - High quality not needed just for review purposes. We currently have a Foscam C1 and FI9821W for testing but using the Foscam viewer looks like we can only record the audio from one camera at a time (depending on which one is selected) Any Ideas on how to help out with this as time is getting tight and I'm running out of solutions. Many Thanks
