  1. Hey guys looking for some information if anyone can help. We have a customer that is requiring 6 digit access control codes. Which is a problem with everything they currentley have being 26bit wiegand. They have about 70 doors on two different access control systems. A IEI hubmax 3 with about 40 doors using IEI prox pads for readers. And a infinias Intelli-M with about 30 doors using HID prox readers. On the IEI system 6 digit codes work off the prox pads but not on the intelli-m. But they are moving all of their doors over to the intelli-m system. So I need to find a reader that will work with the old cards (26 bit) and a new wiegand format to get a 6 digit code. The other problem is they are using 2 different facility codes, I am switching them all to a single facility code as able but I believe my 26 bit cards will not work if I go to a higher bit wiegand format. Has anyone used a prox pad reader that can use multiple wiegand formats and multiple facility codes so they can keep using their existing prox cards but also use the higher bit wiegand for code entry's? Is that even possible or just sound crazy. I have a lot to learn but will answer any questions i can about the setup they are currently using.
