  1. A couple days ago, i notices my 8 Channel system getting some static lines on only 4 cameras, i thought nothing of it, when i woke up the next morning all 8 Cameras showed up black, i can see the systems recording symbol, time, etc. but no video feed. I went and played back to the last time they recorded and minutes before they went black, they were dimming down, getting darker and darker, till they all went black, this is the first time this happens, would appreciate it much if someone could help me out with this, or if anyone has experienced something similar, thanks!

Need Help! DC 12V or AC 24V

and for the connection outside i kinda had to modify something my self in order to power the camera. from top to bottom is the cable that comes from inside to the camera i had to cut the power end, split and strip the positive and negatives to fit into the cable that comes from the camera, which is the last picture.

in fact it is dual, but im going to provide you guys with pictures so you have a better idea of whats going on over here on this end. from top to bottom are the plugs that im using inside that go behind the dvr and the power supply and the bar from the power supply im currently using with an 8 split even though i only need to use 4.

Need Help! DC 12V or AC 24V

Like I said before im new to this and I didnt mention it before but im going to attemp to set these up myself, so I hope its ok to keep asking questions that way I'd have a better idea of what I have to do, to do a successfull job. What do you mean by very well regulated, are there settings im gonna have to mess with? Wouldnt connecting them all to a 24v ac be better? And if its possible can you link me to a supply you think would be more than enough for these cameras to run on?
  7. sorry for my noobieness but im trying to connect 4 cameras a friend passed down to me, and im trying to set them up at my place, i pretty much have everything i need to have them up and running except for the power supply, which im unsure of which one they should run on, ive done a little research and i found out theres two types or atleast thats what i think, anyway i noticed these cameras have the same twist and lock video cord but the power end has a two way split that you can lock in with two little screws you can tighten into the cameras end, they also have the controls on the camera it self which you can control the focus, view, etc, its heavy and has many IR led's, i tried connecting it to a 12V 5A power supply but they show wavy lines on the monitor and my tv, and when i try connecting more than two they get worse and once i connect three, the third one turns on and off constantly, which makes me think they arent getting enough power, hopefully i can receive some help from anybody on here i would really appreciate it, thanks. P.S. im going to provide a pic of one of the cameras maybe somebody can recognize them.
