I have a SRD-854D but it needs silverlight to acess the webui , is their any other firmware that could be flashed onto it ? the only way I can currently view it is on the android phone and it drains the battery too fast and crashes heaps , I would like to be able to stream it on a tablet / laptop , but because of silverlight being unavailable for these devices I am unable to

try renaming to .mkv and try installing codec pack http://www.codecguide.com/download_kl.htm

my dad now has quite a collection of now dead units that all seem to run the same software they just sit at the firmware loading screen I am assuming it's possible to TTL into them I can see a 4 pin header under the metal shield and have observed these markings on the board ( sorry no pics did not think about that before re assembling) RS-DM-202D was written externally on the board there was a chip on underside of PCB microwx vc0715sppv and through the holes of metal sheild I could read DAB SU 202D 1501 forgive me if i typed anything wrong my handwriting is terrible
