    N6200-8E Fresh system Image?

My new NVR arrived. Before I installed it, I made a copy of each MTD using Linux dd command. I'm more than willing to share this with others if they want to try using the "flashcp -v filename /dev/mtdx" format. For this to work, you'd need to at least have it reading the USB memstick.
  2. It appears my mini nvr is toast due to a bad firmware update. It can still boot to a USB Stick and accepts Telnet connection via the network - so I have THAT going for me. I ordered a new one and was thinking... Is it possible to clone the root filesystem from the new one and put it in the old one? I'm looking at Bootmed, Clone Live CD, etc. Wanted to see if anyone has tried it or has opinion on this... Thanks
  3. So... It started out trying to do a simple firmware upgrade and now it's a mess. I CAN telnet into the mini nvr. I CAN USB boot with the mini nvr. I CAN NOT boot normally (no USB Stick) into any type of screen (Black) I CAN NOT IP connect with mini nvr (unless I USB boot - then I have a connection) Is there a way to do a complete image install and basically wipe it? Thanks!

    Mini nvr questions

After attempting to update to the current firmware 20150808 my mini NVR is booting to a black screen. I'm able to run a USB boot stick that allows me to run an update file. However, if I try to use any of the recent firmware files I get an error message "Wrong File". Does anyone have a COMPLETE firmware install I can upload to my NVR? OR since my NVR is booting to a USB Stick, does anyone have what I need to load from the stick to fix my NVR? Thanks!!!
