  1. I am looking for a DVR with "alarm inputs" for under around $300.00 I have tried Q-see, ZIOS, and HD-view, They are all the same machine under different labels. They all have alarm inputs but they all have unreasonably difficult to use software. "Amcrest" has good software, but I cant figure out how to add external alarm triggers to it. Please recomend another brand to try.
  2. ok i found out this one uses the same firmware as Q-see and ZIOS, The software is not good in my openion. This on is not easy! I am looking for something easy to use that has alarm imputes. and does not cost 500+
  3. If your starting a new system then either go IP or CVI or TVI I do plan to use older cheaper cameras, but I would also like to have a couple great cameras such as a 50mm license plate reader (: I want to know if there is a better option in this price range?
