    Remote viewing over hotspot

I think it is Sprint blocking ports....when i do a port scan on my ddns it only shows port 80 and 21 (sometimes) open. I have forwarded both ports to my NVR and even tried putting the NVR in the DMZ

    Remote viewing over hotspot

Yes, it is pointed at my cradlepoint router as the gateway
  3. Currently, I can not get regular Internet service where I live. I do have an unlimited 4G hotspot through Sprint. Get very good speeds with it. All ports show up as "stealth" when I do a scan. I have tried forwarding them correctly 80 and 37777 and also tried changing them to non-traditional ports, with no success. Is there anyway to make this work using a dedicated NVR?

    Switch selection

I plan on installing 10, 3MP cameras in and around my house. I want the system to be expandable to 16. If I understand correctly, I can run Cat6 from each camera to a switch, then a single CAT6 to my router...then camera management software should find everything, right? My questions are about the power need for the switch and bandwidth necessary. Do you think one of these switches would be sufficient? http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/B0050AMJSG/ref=nosim http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/B00RWB5758/ref=nosim The cameras will hopefully be set up to only record upon motion detections and maybe 3 will be PTZ The attached picture is what I have in my head, hopefully I am on the right track
