  1. Thanks: I changed My DVR Settings To: My DVR Settings: under 'general' Network Access: Static IP Address: 192.168.1.254 Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0 Default Gateway: (change to) 192.168.1.1 Preferred DNS Server: (change to) 192.168.1.1 Secondary DNS Server: 008.008.008.0 What Port Number should Swan DVRs be on then? Re the app password is it for the dvr access Password to get into settings? Thanks
  2. i tried changing these as suggested and even tried the last ip digits to 254 but no joy, see images attached thanks
  3. Dear All Id be grateful of assistance in setting up Remote Viewing of my DVR, or if anyone can advise where im going wrong. I'm New to this, so Layman's Terms would be best.. I have setup my CCTV/DVR via Lan/Router and it works fine from the Swann DVR, however when I try to use their app, 'Swann View Pro' or setup remote viewing on ipad. I can not view the images when i'm away from home. From what i've read my service provider can change IP addresses, so i was best to set it as static. I followed the setup guides and have set it up as per: The IP Addresses: Router: 192.168.1.1 DVR: 192.168.1.200 Port: 80 My Public IP (Laptop): 92.10.177.133 (whatsmyip.org) My DVR Settings: under 'general' Network Access: Static IP Address: 192.168.1.200 Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0 Default Gateway: 192.168.1.0 Preferred DNS Server: 192.168.1.0 Secondary DNS Server: 008.008.008.008 under 'advanced': DDNS: Set NTP: Set eMail: Set gmail account (SMTP Port 465 / smtp.gmail.com) Server Port: 80 HTTP Port: 80 UPNP: Enabled In the Swann View Pro App: It asks for Name: I used one designated in DDNS details (above), under advanced Address: 192.168.1.200 Port: 80 User ID/Pword: I assume this is the Router Login. I also assume I have to do Port Forwarding to dedicate this for the DVR (advise if im wrong), can anyone help with a Talk Talk Fibre Router on this as I believe it has to be setup following the Duke of Jamming Video: I setup the Port Mapping as per this video, but not sure of the internal host? I have checked the IP/Port both say available. I have Screenshots available if anyone can help advise. I'd be grateful if anyone can help as its really doing my head in.. Thanks in Advance.. bn4
