More information to my original posting The Hikvision DS-2CD2035-i comes with username admin password 123456789abc Have used SADP program & BatchConfigTool. The camera has been configured to same IP range as the five existing swann cameras. Same sub network range. ie. 172.16.1.5 255.255.255.0 Default Gateway 172.16.1.1 The firmware on the camera allows you to only change the password with 8 to 16 numbers .. or letters but must be a mix of each. You can not change the password to the Swann password ie 12345 The camera work through a web browers (FireFox), you have live view & can configure all settings Very very very slow in getting the screens . When you ping the camera , results for the first 4 replies is correct then one reply time out then ping 3 replies again On the Swann NVR8-7200 Hik IP Camera configured with the Swann Protocol Plug& Play on the NVR8-7200 no connection. Hik IP Camera configured with onvif protocol manual setting on NVR8-7200 no connection. Have tried ports numbers 80 85 554 443 The Swann brand IP cameras SWNHD-820 uses a password 12345 I have no problems connecting the Swann brand camera to the NVR But getting the DS-2CD2035-i to connect has me puzzled.. Any help would be appreciated

Hi Has anybody ever been able to connect a Hikvision DS-2CD2035-i camera to a Swann NVR8-7200? I have tried using the ONFIL config on the NVR with fixed IP address no connection. I have tried ditto with DHCP no connection. I have tried ports 80 85 & quite few more no connection If anybody could help, Thanking you in advance. Russ
