One DVR, Multiple Screens & DIFFERENT VIEW

Hi guys, I really apologise for bringing this old thread back but I was wondering if you could help me. I am setting up a CCTV system for a care home. They have their main DVR and screen in the main office. The building has three floors and they would like a monitor on each of the three floors to monitor what is going on in the building. I was wondering if/how this would be possible. I thought about just mirroring the screen in the office but then if the staff have to look back at footage you don't want that displayed throughout the building. The have a 16 channel DVR but will only use around 8/9 channels. Any help is greatly appreciated. C
  2. Hi, New to the forum so please move if required. I am looking into setting up a CCTV system in a business. The business has an existing network of cat5e cabling providing their network connection/WIFI throughout the building. I know that it is possible to use cat5e cable to connect cameras but was just wondering if there was a way to utilise the existing cabling to work without modifying it so as to still get the wifi, etc. They have network switches on every floor with a phone and wireless router attached. Please let me know if something similar is possible. ConorH
