    8ch Analog upgrade help

Hi, my client has a 5 year old AHD (I believe, dahua looking cctv system. He is happy with most of the system but he would like, brighter night vision, currently the cameras he has are just a spotlight of IR. He is wanting a PTZ Camera, better IR and line crossing mobile phone alerts (warehouse install) Now I originally thought of using a NVR such as this, https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.com.au%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F323028240578 Upgrading a few of his cameras (running a cat6), back to a POE switch and keeping 4 analog cameras to run on the new NVR. 1. Will this work? Combined AHD/IP cameras, 2. Will the smart features of the new cameras work on this NVR (it doesn’t mention line crossing or intrusion on the specs) 3. Can you set up line crossing alerts in the cameras web interface if the NVR don’t support it or must it be through the NVR (if supported) Thanks. The new cameras I’m putting up are, https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.com.au%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F263271754534 And the NVR https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.com.au%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F323028240578 Or am I better to replace the system and rip out all the coax and run cat6? Thanks
  2. Hey guys, I have an unattended site I would like to monitor with a PTZ autotracking camera. It’s a few acres with only one entry point. I have power on site and a power pole I was going to mount the camera too. I was also not going to use a NVR just throw a 128GB sd card it in (cut costs), I was also going to stream it via a 4g modem (4g signal is good) is there many better options for around the same price other than these 2? https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.com.au%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F112786369538 https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.com.au%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F263267325811 I also am not sure what modem will work and I assume I will have to pay for DDNS service as most 3G/4g are dynamic ip adress.! Thanks guys any help on this project would be good. Budget around $3000 for parts including modem sd card camera wiring and camera mount. Cheers
