  1. I haven't been able to find an exact replacement camera for my Lorex LH130 ECO2 SERIES system locally. The Lorax support site says to use the Recording Resolution to find replacement camera (NTSC: 360x240 (CIF), 720x240 (HD1), 720x480 (D1)). http://help.lorextechnology.com/link/portal/57356/57366/Article/1301/My-recorder-has-been-discontinued-but-I-would-like-to-buy-more-cameras-which-ones-are-compatible I’m guessing that I need a 720 camera so then I found a Swann PRO-A850 - 720P Multi-Purpose Day/Night Security Camera which appears to me like it should work, but I can’t get it to work. I tried to change settings in the DVR and still nothing worked. http://www.swann.com/us/swpro-a850cam What am I missing here?

    Camera replacement Question?

Well I decided to open the box with the HD cameras and decided to give it a try. It turns out that they are not compatible and I only have a black picture with the newer HD camera so I reinstalled the old camera. I was a little surprised when I opened the newer camera system box because it was not what I thought I bought. I thought I bought a 16 channel system with 8 cameras, but its only 8 cameras with no room to grow. It’s been over a year since I bought it so I can’t even return it. Sorry to take up your time.

    Camera replacement Question?

Hi, this is my first post here I think because I don’t have a lot to add about Security systems and find myself having to join forums for one time help then forgetting what forums I joined so please forgive me. Anyway I have two Lorex 8 camera system systems the older being an Lorex LH1888 that I installed around the outside of my house. It doesn’t cover all that I have so I bought another Lorex HD720P that was on clearance last year. I have not had the time to install the new system yet, but I’m having some problems with my most important camera failing at night. I added more IR lighting everywhere to compensate for the IR LEDs burning out, but I think the problem may be the camera itself going out. I already replaced a camera that was in full sun every day of the year and this camera might be next. My question is can I replace the old camera with one of the new cameras that I haven’t installed yet? I just realized that both cameras are 720P, but the new one is HD so I have no idea how that comes in play.
