Hi Guys
I am new to CCTV and have no experience with solar power. I have taken the advice of a local solar supplier to setup a configuration to power a Ubiquiti Lightbeam M5 which uses 4W and a Hikvision Bullet IPcam which uses 7W when in night mode. I was told that a 60Watt panel and 2 18AH 12VDC batteries connected in serie and using a controller will be sufficient to power the setup.
At the moment the setup only records up to 02:00 in the morning and the run out of power and then starts again at about 07:00 after the sun has been up for 1,5 hours.
Any advice?
