  1. New Member obviously. Hopefully this isn't out of line. I have set-up my home network which consists of 2 axis IP cams (P3364), a doorbird camera, control4 (ea5, (2)ea1, sonos, etc), synology DS716+, netgear S3300-28X-PoE+ switch, R8500 router, cm600 modem. I have set-up my network, which functions; but I need/want expert input tweeking. Curious if i should have my cams on a separate switch or just vlan or subnet to improve recordings, while still allowing my control4 access for remote viewing. I am having some c4 network issues which my c4 installer cant explain or fix. They say due to "smart" router/switch although I have followed all of c4's switch/router guidelines. Would love to learn everything on my own but don't have that much time Anyone for hire or how would I find some one local who is competent?
