Camera picture loss after a few minutes

Hi, thanks for that. My butt is on the line so I need to get it sorted. It's strange because the images are really good for a few minutes and then gone. Do you think it's the voltage getting through to the camera that's the problem? Many thanks. Paul.

Camera picture loss after a few minutes

Thanks for that, I have some drums of shotgun cable. Would that be OK as an alternative? Cheers. Paul.

Hi, yes I am but it's not the monitor. The cameras are dropping!
  4. [bETTER THAN 1280TVL] KARE® 4CH CCTV DVR System & 2x HD Megapixel Indoor / Outdoor Security Bullet Cameras (1280x720 Pixels, Quick Access Over iOS / Android, H.264 Compression, 36pcs LED for Night Vision, Email Alerts & Motion Detection, IP68 Waterproof and Vandal-Proof Housing, Black). Hi Guys, I purchased the above from amazon, I'm a spark by trade so don't do this usually. This is being used in a block of flats. The cable runs are around 100m and I'm using 2 cameras. I'm using the pre-made cables which are joined (sorry). When I boot the DVR pictures are great but after a couple of minutes the pictures start to degrade and then disappear completely. If I reboot, they come back but then pop off again. I've changed both the DVR and PSU and still the same. I'm pretty sure I'm going to be told the cable is pants but are there any tests I can do to make sure? Many many many thanks for any help!!! Paul
