Adata/LJD Colossus Lite 16 Channel issue

Have managed to reset the admin password back to default using Telnet and a generated secure code as nothing else at the front end would work. Thanks for your help in trying to get this sorted tomcctv.

  3. Hi All. First post so hopefully someone can help me with my issue. Basically got a Adata Colossus lite 16 channel (i know its an old DVR but suits my purpose and records well). I was doing some reconfiguring the other night and reset the admin password to the default. Stupidly I left it connected to the web and came to get into it the other day via the ivms app and couldnt get in (username / password error). To cut a long story short, i checked my router logs and it was accessed from somewhere in the far east, if reverse lookup of the ip address is correct and someone has got in and changed the passwords. Is there a way i can factory default this unit, or upgrade firmware or is there a code generator to clear the password ? the only account i can get in with is a local user account but cant make any changes at all with that. System details are as follows: Unit Name: Embedded Net DVR Device Model: colossus lite 16 Firmware version v2.0 build 070113 Encode version v4.0 build 070106 Any help would be appreciated.
