  1. I have a q-see NVR model 8516. I am trying to use the 8 port POE switch that is built into the NVR, but with my amcrest camera I can't seem to make it work. I am not sure if there is a specific port or something that I need to use. Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks
  2. Hey everyone this is my first post here, hoping to get some info on accessing my IP cameras. I have a Q-See NVR, model QT8516 and camera models QTN8041B-N and QTN8037BC. My NVR (ip 10.151.151.1) seems to be giving the cameras ip addresses in the 10.151.151.0/24 subnet, starting at 10.151.151.100. My local network is 192.168.0.0/24. What I would like to do is connect directly to the cameras. I have tried putting static routes on the router, static routes in windows, etc. and haven't been able to get it to work yet. I have also tried the rtsp url that q-see's site has, to no avail. I have tried local and outside networks. If anyone has any suggestions I would appreciate it. Thanks!
