    IVMS 4200 Issue

Firewall is turned off. We have tried USB LAN adapter and software works. We feel there is some issue with on-board LAN settings/driver/etc....hardware should be OK as Internet & other software are working properly. We will do a complete diagnostics tomorrow and update.

    IVMS 4200 Issue

Our public IP addresses are STATIC. On that same DELL workstation, if we remove the LAN cable (thru which leased line internet is available) and connect to Internet using USB internet dongle, IVMS is working properly. Secondly, if we put that LAN cable to another PC, IVMS is working properly in that PC. This leads us to believe that there is issue with onboard LAN port of DELL workstation. However, please note that only IVMS is not working when connected using LAN cable, rest other application like Teamviewer, accessing DVR using IE/Chrome is working fine. DELL diagnostics says that there is not hardware fault. Any thoughts on this...
  3. We need urgent support in troubleshooting IVMS 4200 software issue. There are 14 Gas stations that are connected with leased line and each station is assigned a PUBLIC IP address. At control room, we have Dell workstation with Windows 7 64 bit OS. We are installing IVMS 4200 software to connect to all remote HikVision DVR and have central monitoring. However, on installing said IVMS software on Dell workstation, we are facing two issues: 1. Primary issue: We are not able to connect to remote DVR after giving all necessary inputs (IP Address port number, login and password). We are getting Failed to connect Error[7]. However, when we use browser to connect to DVR, we are able to connect. Please note that we are able to connect to remote DVR using IVMS 4200 from all other desktop PC within same network and outside the corporate network from any PC connected to internet. We have done OS re-installation also just in case if there is any OS issue, but still the issue persists. 2. While trying to resolve above issue, we also found that in Account Management section of IVMS4200, the users rights are greyed and we are not able to select/deselect rights. This is happening in the same DELL workstation only; in all other PC there is no such issue. Hope this may give you some indication on the issue. Please note that the said DELL workstation is directly connected to router; can there be network related settings that is preventing this workstation to connect remote DVR thruu WAN/Public IP. Any indication on above issue will greatly help.
