  1. Hi, I'm trying to figure out the best option for setting up a CCTV system for 2 properties that are next door to each other. (There is access between both properties) Currently 1 property has been setup with Hikvision cameras using: DS-7616NI-E2-16P-A: 16CH NVR Hikvision DS-2CD3345 4MP Everything is working fine with remote viewing at home. Now I need to install cameras next door, however ideally we'd like each property to see both their own cameras and also next door camera. Could anyone suggest how I could set this up and what kind of extra hardware I'd need? I wasn't sure if I could split the CAT5 camera signal for the cameras on both properties so they went into each others NVR boxes? The only other option I could think of was to install cameras in the 2nd property and connect them directly to 1st property NVR (I think we should have enough spaces for cameras). pros - easy to install and wire cons - I would need more hard-drive space in NVR cons - 2nd property would need PC etc to remote view everything cons - A lot of bandwidth remote viewing Alternatively instead of remote viewing, I could split the HDMI signal and have this going to a 2nd monitor in 2nd property. Any advice?
