  1. It doesn’t make sense to me that the manufacturer wouldn’t use a common file type. I’m having a similar problem with their video. Hoping for a solution. Does the camera offer any options that will let you change the type of file before recording for next time.
  2. I have a hikvision nvr and cameras. When I record something I want to share or post the file has to be converted. I use their converter and it gives me a file that can be played but it’s all green. Totally useless. What am I doing wrong ? Also on my iPad I can clip a file and email it but it’s unviewble except on the vsplayer. I don’t understand the reason a file isn’t created any player can handle. Any help would be appreciated. I have some theives I’d like to publish https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gxc6YzJgRW8&feature=youtu.be
  3. I’ve purchased cables from monoprice. They have bulk and patch cat6. I’m getting ready to buy more. They have great prices.
  4. Contact tech support or who you bought it from. They use the serial number and date to create a password to reset it.

    Aviligion license

I’m in palm beach county florida
  6. I found an aviligion system that was purchased but never used. It doesn’t come with a software license. Any idea how difficult that is to get and how much they would charge.
  7. We recently had some vandalism of vehicles. My neighbor has this system and can’t figure out how to get the footage out. It was 3:23 am but it won’t even let him log in. I saw some of his night video and the quality was so low I’m not sure it would be of any use. I’d still like to get my hands on it so I can post it everywhere hoping someone will recognize them. He has 2mp cameras. Hope yours is better. He just installed his recently and doesn’t seem to know how to use it. Maybe he could adjust it for a better picture at night.

    System Recommendation

Have to disagree about dome cameras not being suitable for outside. IP66 rating is intrusion of water from heavy seas and 67 rated for immersion according to conditions. There are plenty of dome cameras with IP66 rating. They don’t have to be mounted from a ceiling since the camera is adjustable. You’ll have less problems with spiders and other bugs setting up camp than with the bullet type. Just my 2 cents
