  1. The answer is: rtsp://x.x.x.x:554/?line=2
  2. Hi all, does anybody know how to access the second stream of this encoder? If you use rtsp://x.x.x.x:554 to the encoder you get stream 1, but how do you get to stream 2 ?

    RGB signal gives black screen

Hi Tom, yes, unfortunately it is an old analogue switch, so I am stuck with RGB. The encoder is a Kramer VP-101 which then goes composite into a Bosch encoder to get an IP output. What do you think about the coaxial cable length, could this be the issue ?
  4. Hi guys, I have a strange issue in that my RGB feed gives a pure black screen? The input is 3 x coax feeds (Blue, Green and Red) into an encoder. I have had some success but usually the encoder outputs a pure black screen. There is some talk that the 30M coaxial cables may be just too long for the encoders sensitivity? When I connect a monitor via VGA it works every time! Any suggestions? Thanks Kevin.
  5. I can't tell who's CMS it is but I think I got it from the Nichietsu site. The DVR is about 5 years old.
  6. Hey Jerome, I have a 500G western digital sata drive in my DVR (which was supposed to be compatible) and the DVR claims it has no hard drive. Any suggestions here ?
  7. Thanks Jerome that worked. I usually use Firefox, what security settings could I tweek to get that working ?
  8. Hi CCTV Gurus, I have recently resurrected my camera DVR (Nichietsu) and want to set it up as I initially intended, albeit quite a few years ago now. So I started locally on my Win 10 PC and the http connection logs me in but doesn't show any video. Ok, so let's download the latest CMS software and try that. The software loads fine but when adding the device it gives a "login timeout" error and doesn't register it at all. I know that I am using the correct IP, port, username and password in CMS, I can PING the device from my PC, I can http into the device from my PC (no video), CMS on my PC can't login, any suggestions?
