  1. Hello, I had purchased a Q-see QT8516 NVR with 8 QTN8039B cameras. I added 8 additional Q-see cameras. I got tired of the unreliability of the Q-see NVR. If you didn't check it every few days you had no idea whether it was recording or not. I bought a Hunt NHR51p6-16 NVR. I moved all 16 cameras over. But the QTN8039B cameras will not do motion record. The cameras when directly connected show they are seeing motion and triggering the motion. But the NVR doesn't get a motion signal and won't record the cameras. The cameras will record when set to continuous. Anyone have any idea how to either upgrade the firmware, or to use a setting other than ONVIF to get the NVR to motion record. I spent an hour on the phone with Hunt and 2.5 hours on the phone with Q-see who gave me every BS excuse in the world as to why it's not their cameras fault. Thanks for any help you can provide. Dave
  2. Hello I have thrown away my Qsee QT8516 NVR and replaced it with a Hunt HNRP516. I had 16 Qsee cameras. The 8 cameras that originally came with the Qsee NVR refuse to record motion. They will record continous but not motion. I spent hours on the phone with Hunt and Qsee. Qsee was ZERO help. I am sure there must be a firmware patch that makes the cameras compatible. The cameras are QTN8039B Software Version 3.4.1 Kernel 20140907 Software Build 2015-1-4 Hardware Version 1.3 Onvif Version 2.3 Do you have a firmware that could help with this issue before I have to go out and buy all new cameras? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you Dave B 1
