  1. I've just installed a new TVT DVR and whilst video clips generated from the DVR itself can be played on a PC with most software ( VLC, Windows Media Player etc ) if I access the DVR via CMS 2.0 which was supplied with the DVR for remote viewing across the LAN and generate clips through that software they won't play at all. Most of the time the AVI file either shows a still image or just a blank screen while the time bar moves along. I've tried using VLC to convert AVI files to MP4 but they still don't play. Accessing the DVR via a web browser has the same result - ie the AVI files just won't play. Because the DVR is in a very inaccessible place I need LAN access to manage the system and also be able to produce video clips in a format that can easy be viewed e.g if they have to be passed on to the police etc. Any help would be appreciated Thanks
