Pelco DX 7116-240 For Sale (As IS) $185.00 +S/H This unit was purchased from a business to be use as a method to demo cameras at my shop, I have not use or operated this unit and don't know what condition it is in. I was told that the unit was send back to Pelco and the software was upgraded by Pelco, since it no longer fit my needs I am putting it up for sale.

I know why we don’t follow up on an ideal this guy name Scorpion had about us pooling our resources and buying a container load of DVR's together!!!!!! This would be a great time to consider such a purchase, ten to twenty of us buying ten dvr's each now become a order of 200 dvr's instead on 1-5 when just one person buy from a distributor. If you keep doing the same thing then you will keep getting the same results, if you change up then maybe you will get a different result. Sorry just thinking out loud

Why would you have to foot the bill, each person should pay their way.

They have budgeted a 8 ch DVR and the extra cameras would require a 16 ch DVR, they only need 8 to 10 cameras to cover all locations. We are installers if you know of any wholesalers please PM me. By the way what ever happen to the work shop in FLA.

Did you check to see if your computer is setup for ActiveX, the site cannot be access until your PC allow sites that use Active X.

As a newbie to the security field and with a twenty year history in the computer field, (Commodore 64 and Heathkits) my first move was to go the DVR card route until I saw the resources needed to get the card to work right. From a business person point of view it is very hard to sell a PC base dvr to my target market (low income/budget minded. I sell more standalones and yet my remote video surveillance system is a Aver Media NV5000 DVR card system and man it is sweet. Their support is great and E/U ease of use you could be blind folded and still get it setup right. However, the system requirements are high, my box has a 3.0 cpu, 2 gigs of ram, 512 video card and a TB hard drive, and their tech said I just met the minimum. The other problems for PCbase DVR's Virus & Spyware, PC configuration and the end user wanting to use it for other applications while recording video.
